The Nuapada Nutri Rice Cluster, situated in the picturesque location of Jhitridhoda, with its postal address at Bhojpur, via Khariar, in the Nuapada district of Odisha, marked by the pin code 766107, is poised to revolutionize the lives of local farmers. Nuapada Nutri Rice Cluster will help farmers not only to get remunerative prices for their products but also to increase their productivity with the adoption of modern scientific methods of cultivation.

The project aims at helping protein rice farmers in increasing their productivity and ensures better prices for their produce. This will also encourage local farmers to expand areas under protein rice and black rice which have high demand due to their better nutritional value and health benefits. One of the most impressive facets of this endeavour is the united effort of 1042 dedicated farmers from various panchayats within the Nuapada district, including Palsada, Domjhor, and Bhojpur panchayats. Panchayat, who are the heart and soul of this cluster. Their collective effort is set to disrupt the traditional middleman-based approach to selling agricultural products, ensuring that farmers reap the full rewards of their labour.

One of the main motives of the project is to make farmers realize better prices for the protein rice and black rice cultivated by them without the involvement of middlemen. To establish a training cum research and development cell to enhance the skill set of the farmers and to uplift the social, cultural, and economic status of the rural farmers at the cluster area is one of the aims. The project is required for bringing socio-economic changes in the cluster area and expanding product line of protein rice products. Through these efforts, the Nuapada Nutri Rice Cluster is not just about cultivating crops; it's about cultivating a brighter, more prosperous future for the local farming community.
